Boat-Beach Engagement Session
– Norfolk Virginia Based Photographer –
Photographing Kathleen and JC’s engagement session was an unforgettable experience with a mix of locations and lighting! It’s always a joy to work with them, but this engagement session was SO FUN!
Their session started at a small local beach, surrounded by rocks that lined the beach and the most dreamy golden light. We most definitely used the rocks for some fun portraits of them, and a RING SHOT! (Her ring is to die for!!! Check it out below!) Next, we headed towards the dock, where they popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate and sipped on the remainder as they watched the sunset.
As if that wasn’t exciting enough – there was more in store!
After spending quite some time at the beach and dock, we then transitioned and headed over to their boat; where Kathleen’s dad was ready to go waiting for us! It’s been on my bucket list to photograph a couple on a boat – and it was the perfect way to end their session as the sun went completely down.
It was truly a special engagement session that beautifully showcased their love and goofiness! I’m so excited to celebrate them again in May 2025 at Barns of Kanak in Richmond, VA.
