Congratulations to The Weinel’s!
Nestled near the Delaware and Maryland state line, Venue Fifty Four in Delmar, MD, served as the perfect venue for Kayla and Braden’s wedding on September 14th, 2024. With Venue Fifty Four’s huge wooden pergola, the large reception area with a grand staircase, and separate spaces for getting ready, it provided the ideal location for their Eastern Shore wedding.
It’s definitely one of my favorite Maryland wedding venues I’ve photographed at!!
The day began with Braden and Kayla getting ready in separate suites at Venue Fifty Four – with the guys in the bungalow and the girls in the bridal suite. One of the many special moments of the morning was when Kayla, surrounded by her bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law joined together in a circle for a prayer. This was the perfect way for Kayla to calm and ground herself amidst the pre-ceremony excitement and nerves.
Before the ceremony, Braden and Kayla shared a ‘first touch’ where they were able to hold hands, talk and pray together. I HIGHLY recommend to all my couples to consider a First Touch if you’re not interested in a First Look. It allows an opportunity to connect and relax WITH each other – and to reflect on the day ahead and commitment you are about to make together.
The ceremony took place under the venue’s beautiful pergola, where Braden and Kayla exchanged vows and rings, along with their first kiss as husband and wife. In a meaningful way that showed their shared faith, the couple led their guests in singing “Goodness of God,” performed by one of Kayla’s bridesmaids and friends. What a beautiful moment to capture! This moment of worship was filled with so much love and was the perfect way to end their wedding ceremony – and truly leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
The celebration continued all throughout the reception! Kayla and Braden entered the reception and went straight into their first dance – setting the stage for an evening filled with genuine speeches and a packed dance floor. The couple had only ONE special request for their wedding photography: “Hardcore, lit, dancing pics – specifically of Braden.” Their guests DELIVERED, and the dance floor became the epicenter of celebration, capturing Braden’s unforgettable dance moves and Kayla’s infectious energy throughout the night!
To Braden and Kayla, thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to capture your incredible day! Your positive energy and love for each other were a joy to witness and document. I am confident that together, you will achieve amazing and extraordinary things!!
