July Wedding at Celebrations at The Bay

It was an unforgettable day celebrating Tara and JP during their summer wedding at Celebrations At The Bay, just outside Annapolis. Overlooking the Chesapeake Bay, this venue has the perfect waterfront ceremony and reception locations, and I was so excited to get the opportunity to capture their wedding here!

The day began with the couple getting ready at a nearby hotel. After being zipped into the dress and enjoying a first look with her bridesmaids, Tara and JP shared an intimate first look together. This allowed them to exchange personal vows to each other in private and have a moment before the the rest of the day’s plans. This decision was beautiful, allowed them to travel to the venue together with all their friends, and start capturing their portraits before guests even arrived. By photographing the wedding party and romantic portraits prior to the ceremony, Tara and JP had more time afterwards to mingle with their guests.

The reception was equally as magical! With a view of the Chesapeake Bay, their first dance, along with the sweet dances with their parents, brought tears to many eyes (including my own). The wedding party’s speeches, filled with love, laughter, and mentions of my favorite artist, Harry Styles… really set the stage for an epic night on the dance floor. One of my favorite moments of the night was watching Tara and JP be lifted into the air by their friends. The joy everyone had celebrating this couple perfectly encapsulated the happiness Tara and JP brings to everyone they meet.

I am so incredibly honored to have the opportunity to capture such a beautiful and amazing couple who had the most perfect summer wedding day! Tara and JP, thank you for allowing me to document this chapter of your lives. Congratulations and all my love to you both!
